Sorry if there is a thread for this already, but I did not see one.
I have been asked to challenge the Ice King, a few times now and when I click on the event I get the error Oh No! You must be challenged by this opponent!
well I was challenged, yet I can't fight him.
I posted about it here (and it looks like someone else did too) but Keith never responded/acknowledged it. -_-
Yeah, I'm having this same problem. u_u
I've had this happen twice since new years.
I've had this same problem as well. Using the latest version of Firefox, if that helps.
I'm having this problem as well :/ I've been challenged by him three times in the last hour or so, and each time I click the link it just says "Oh No! You must be challenged by this opponent!". Refreshing doesn't change the message. I'm using Chrome.
i have the same issue as everyone else and have the same message
Oh No! You must be challenged by this opponent!

I'm sick of seeing this. Please fix.
Can we at least have some kind of update as to why this hasn't been fixed yet?
I wanted to go ahead and post that this has been reported. Please be patient!

i've been looking at this and i haven't been able to duplicate it so far :/
can't duplicate it as in aren't getting the same error? because it seems from the battle chat that not one single person has been able to fight ice king since i believe the last cache update a few days ago...
Pinging you for the above since Mike didn't ping you xD

yeah. i gave myself the event and was able to start a battle him just fine. just did it again and no problems...
I just got the Ice King event and it didn't work. Is it because I tried to open it up in a new tab?
maybe it has something to do with forcing the event, like that is updating the cache to allow access to the challenger but when you get it normally it doesn't send whatever information to access it? and don't admin accounts access the cache differently or summat like that, like when updates get pushed you always see them a while before they hit the majority of the live site?
and as far as i can tell the day keith posted THIS is the day the problems started
the event was loaded and processed the same way, i just filtered out all the other events from being able to be chosen.
and, no, every account accesses the cache the same way. what you're talking about with seeing updates ahead of time isn't anything to do with the cache, it's just because we can have code changed on the development server before it's sent to the live site. pushing changes from the development server to the live site is actually completely independent of the cache.
